Thailand Trip

On the 1st of November till the 3rd, my mum brought Jasmine & I to Thailand. The main reason was to pray, other than that, we walked around and that was all. Stuffs there were quite expensive compared to Malaysia and we thought it'll be much cheaper. So we didn't buy much stuff, only window shopping but the food was great. We stayed in Arnoma, the nearest hotel to the shopping complex and temple. So we could walk instead of taking a taxi.



On the 1st night, we walked to Central World Plaza. The night life there was awesome. They also set up a huge christmas tree right in front of the shopping complex although its only November now.

Next day, we headed to Siam Paragon, shopping! Its like KL's Pavilion. Lots of branded shops and boutiques. But stuffs there were much more expensive = Window shopping only. The place was kinda far so we took a small taxi, which they called it "Tuk Tuk".

And the taxi in Thailand are all in bright colours like pink, blue, green, orange, red, purple and yellow





In Siam Paragon, the lower ground floor has the Ocean World. Sharks, water rats, turtle, sword fish and everything. Since we had nothing to do, we went for it.

And finally, the last day. We didn't go anywhere cause' we didn't have much time. We needed to go to the airport in the morning. So we woke up quite early and went to the nearest temple to pray. Well, only my mum lah xD





The trip was okay, the air was really dusty and the weather was hotter than Malaysia. No matter what, I would rather stay in KL and rot all day :)

Surprise!!!

31st of October, we had a surprise party for Carl Lyn @ Alexis, Gardens. Everything was well decorated with flowers (roses!!!), balloons and light bulbs! Kristina and Carl Lyn's mum planned this since months ago. The hard thing was to keep it a secret with most of her friends are from the same class but nothing went wrong. Carl Lyn wasn't surprise, she half expected something going on. Still, we all had fun. Especially in taking pictures :)

Dissection

We dissected a frog on Thursday. I can't deal with the smell, blood, organs and everything, so my lab partners, Kok Weng, Jasmine & Sheng Yang did everything and I was the photographer of the day. The lab was full of laughters and people screaming when we first cut through skin of the frog. So..... rubbery and elastic and flexible and wet and slippery, one word = yucks -.-




I hated frogs so freaking much, but for once, this is so cute!!!

The 1st step of dissection : Cut through the skin along the center of the body


2nd : Pin the skin to one side


3rd : Cut through the muscle and breast bone to open up the body cavity


4th : Pin the muscle on the tray and identify the organs

After cutting through the body, it was up to us to do anything we want to the frog. So my lab partners were playing with its organs and pulling everything out from its body. They even peeled off the skin of the frog's leg.

Happy Birthday Faris!



Thanks for being there all the time when I have problems. Although I've only known you for the past 10 months but we've been friends like longer than that. It's really fun having you in class. It'll never be the same without you :)

Gathering

It was on Friday night after school, Stanley & Cho Ying came to Desa Parkcity for a gathering. No one could make it except for Kai Cong, Jasmine & me so there were only 5 of us. We had our dinner in La Casa, an Italian restaurant. After that, we just walked around the place and hung out at the playground with some form 1 kids :)

Mooncake Festival

I spent the night of Mooncake festival first with the family, Joseph, Joanna, Isaac & Isabelle. We walked to the Waterfront with lanterns & candles. The place was crowded with children and, surprisingly, dogs too. Kids were cycling and running around with lanterns. It made me miss my childhood days so much. No stress and no school :D





Done celebrating with the family. Yu Hui came to pick Jasmine & I up to Nicole's house for the festival. Wei Shen, Farouq & Bryan were already there by the time we reached. Then Kar Kin came afterwards. Nicole greeted us with food like mooncake, biscuits, pamelo, satay and most importantly the CUPCAKES! Delicious :)

We took lanterns and walked around Tropicana. Nicole shouted "Happy Valentines" to every car or motorcycle that passed by and houses that had open house, hilarious. Then we planned to walk to Shaun's house instead.

While walking back to Nicole's house, Bryan burnt his lantern in purpose, just to see the effect -.- We took pictures in the middle of the road too. Cars passed by on both sides but we remained standing there like no one's business :p

All of us went home at 11.15pm. Jasmine & I tumpang Bryan's car since we're staying in the same place. Since Bryan was hungry, uncle and auntie brought us to Kayu Mamak for supper. Then we reached home at 12.30pm :)
